The iPhone is now sold at carriers and through an official Apple website, similar to the U.S. model of selling the iPhone. iDownloadBlog shares an interview from a Russian TV program where Maxim Nogotkov, the CEO of Svyaznoy says,
That is the most direct statement we’ve heard about an iPhone 6 release date in any country. This lines up with the many iPhone 6 rumors that arrive each week, and while it is a statement from a CEO it is far from a confirmation of Apple’s plans.

This report comes as we start to hear rumblings about iPhone 6 production plans ramping up with new hires and with potential expansions at the Sapphire plant operated by the other Apple partner. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is Samsung's upcoming flagship and its a device that will serve as a replacement for the Galaxy S4. While the Galaxy S5 isn't sporting a QHD display or a metal design, it does have some very likeable features including a 16MP camera with fast auto-focus, gorgeous display and yes, a dust and water resistant design.
